Welcoming Kathleen Donovan!

Kathleen has been around golf from a very young age. Growing up in Orange County, she spent summers playing golf with her dad and siblings at Los Angeles Country Club, as well as working at her family run golf course in Chino Hills. Her early jobs ranged from banquet serving and working in the Golf Shop, to mowing fairways out on the course. She played competitive golf in high school and continues to play for fun with friends and family.

Kathleen received her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the Collins College of Hospitality at Cal Poly Pomona in 2017. She was an active member of her student chapter of CMAA during her time at Cal Poly and has continued her membership following graduation.

Kathleen spent time as Golf Operations Manager at Waverley Country Club in Portland, OR. During her five years there, she worked in various departments around the Club, giving her an excellent understanding of club operations and membership. For just under two years, she served as Membership Director at San Diego Country Club. Outside of golf, Kathleen enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
